IT Martini Hour 18: Sweet Home Ohio | Presented by Genesis10

IT Martini is on a mission: to grow the IT Community in cities everywhere!  Seventeen (17) events have been held across the Midwest to date, in cities like Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, and Indianapolis.

IT Martini was founded in 2008 by John Bishop and Aladin Gohar, who realized that IT Professionals weren't socializing as an IT Community.  They spawned a social network for IT Pros with the core values of leadership, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.

IT Martini is celebrating leadership in the Cleveland IT Community with an Interactive Panel Discussion session focused on Attracting and Building IT Talent in Cleveland, Ohio.  Several engaging local leaders are participating, in a discussion hosted by Genesis10.

IT Martini is also celebrating leadership with Speed Networking, an activity that gives everyone an opportunity to demonstrate leadership by exchanging ideas with IT Pros in Cleveland in a timed fashion.  Watch for signs at IT Martini Hour 18 indicating the specific location of this activity, hosted by Expedient.

IT Martini is hosting six (6) early stage 'start-up' companies, who are going to DEMO their products at IT Martini Hour 18.  They include:

1. Launch Brain Inc. works with companies and individuals to launch “world class” online business. Launch Brain promises to jump the “hurdles” for its clients.
2. Citizen Groove is a digital audition tool that partners with university music programs to provide digital screening of applicants. Admissions officers save time through the elimination of opening, sorting and processing of CDs.
3. OptixConnect is an online application that matches private businesses with high-value stakeholders. OptixConnect helps startups proactively engage the investor community for full transparency of development and mutual goals.
4. Within3 is tapping into Cleveland’s growing health care industry by creating online communities for health care professionals in pharmaceuticals, medical associations and health systems. Health care professionals have precious little time but need to stay connected more than ever to keep up with regulatory and compliance issues.
5. SpotHero allows parking owners to list and sell parking spaces online in advance of events. Patrons can buy a spot in advance to save time in the search for parking and spend more time enjoying the event.
6. iRx Reminder LLC is a smartphone-based application that reminds users to take medication. In addition to medication reminders, iRX Reminder includes education, surveys and tasks making it perfect for clinical research as well as individual

Also presenting is Hot Bar Spot, on tour with IT Martini as the IT Community Choice Award winner from Columbus.  It allows patrons to go online and check out the atmosphere at local bars and pubs before heading out the door, with video promotion services are provided to the venues so that real-time feeds are available for patrons.
